“My work seeks to illuminate the glorious, infinite promise of finding beauty in everyday objects. Through the alchemy of the artist’s eye, the mundane becomes extraordinary and the extraordinary becomes magical, connecting the artist and her viewer to each other and to the world in a heightened and most heartfelt way.
It is the intimate dance between shadow and light that becomes the vehicle for visual transformation, creating an almost holy aspect to commonplace things. Wrapped in the inspirational medium of oil on canvas, I am grateful for the ordinary moments in life that suddenly bring me joy and for the unending wonders that turn my creativity toward unpainted images that are yet to be.”
