Janice Wall – Artist Statement
A few years ago I discovered pastels and have been on a learning path with the colorful sticks ever since. Besides working on my skills with the medium, Sometimes I use other materials in combination with the pastel, such as ink, pencil, marker or watercolor.
I am a Signature Member of the Northwest Pastel Society and a Master Circle member of the International Association of Pastel Societies. I belong to Plein Air Washington and enjoy painting “en plein air.” My work has earned many awards and been featured in Pastel Journal, Art Journey: Abstract Painting and Best of Worldwide Landscape Artists.
