I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, with a degree in Environmental Design, and later worked with design professionals in the fields of landscape architecture, architecture and civil engineering.
In the summer of 1993, I took one 6 – week course in watercolor painting and I loved it, deciding I would concentrate on mastering the medium. I especially admired the subtle beauty of watercolor landscape paintings. I like the way the water works its magic, taking control, blending colors, softening edges and creating scenes more beautiful than originally imagined
I began watercolor painting seriously in 2007 and have continued painting ever since. I paint mostly florals, sea life, animals and landscapes. I have also developed a small business locally, reproducing my paintings as notecards. I feel so fortunate to have this passion for watercolor painting; I consider it a blessing. Thank you for your interest in my work.
