Join the Annual Celebration of all things VIVA!

Don’t miss our Annual Member Meeting and Potluck Social, Sunday, August 30th, from 2-4:30 pm, at the Vashon High School Lunchroom. Doors open at 1:30, so bring your best sweet or savory dish and grab a chair. (VIVA will supply plates, forks, spoons, water, and coffee. Please bring a serving spoon for your dish.)

It will be an excellent chance to meet artists with whom you can share a studio during upcoming tours and catch up with other VIVA members and the art community. We will also:

• SHARE results of the Spring Studio Tour
• ENCOURAGE Holiday Tour applicants to meet up and pair up to create more multi-artist stops. This tour will be limited to 40 locations, so teaming up is necessary.
• DISCUSS this year’s VIVA Member Show.
• REVIEW the Christine Beck VIVA Educational Art Scholarship Fund.
• REQUEST CANDIDATES for the VIVA Board. Several board members are stepping down after years of service. The organization NEEDS new board members to step in with new energy and fresh ideas. If we do not fill these positions, our mission and ability to prepare for the Holiday Studio Tour will be negatively impacted.

YOUR attendance is critical to the success of the visual arts on Vashon.

Please remember that VIVA is a volunteer organization. It takes the effort of each and every one of us to make the studio tours successful.
